I know it's been a few weeks since my last blog update, but I've been doing a lot of ART lately. And by art I mean completely revamping the comics to date.
Hold your horses. Let me explain.
Recently I had a conversation with my writer about the continuity between the graphic novel and the printed novel. There were several nuances she mentioned that started to bother me. I looked across the images so far, and after my software had a major update and a few vodkas, a lightbulb moment happened.
💡 To me! 💡
START OVER.
Not like, completely. But there isn't enough detail. It's not....a Graphic Novel...right now, in it's current state, it's a comic book, and I don't want to make a comic book. Here is a sample between the earlier and later versions of the art (without the words)
I don't have a lot to say right now, because It's already 7:30 am and I need to get started. Can you see how much better this looks!? More detail, More color, More CLARITY.
I don't want the readers to be confused or get lost during the story because there are a lot of little details that matter. So I'm trying not to rush or keep myself to a strict schedule. ( hence, why I removed the dates for the episodes on the episode page.)
I want the readers to enjoy and understand the story, not be lost trying to figure out what you're looking at or what's happening. So allow me to calm down, take a breath and draw because I love it, not to meet a deadline.

So...did you buy an episode already?
