A boring monologue...
Why this direction, millennial?
*breath*
So. As the main gears of the site begin to turn and I squirt WD-40 into the cracks, my business partner and I can clear our minds from the clutter and work on the big addons. We've scoured the internet for similar platforms and we know that something like this is completely new and may be confusing to navigate. I've been speaking with the webhost developers into finding new ways to integrate a live chat window that everyone can post in real-time. We want to add groups and soon, other forum perks!
Unfortunately these things take time, people and resources. I'm also tweaking the referral system to make it more attractive to invite your friends to the site as well, like coupons, discounts and prizes; such as winning merchandise.
These are all ideas that we've been vollyballing (this isn't a term, maybe one day it will be) in our office.
When someone asks what this is, I'm always unsure of what to tell them. It's more than a graphic novel, it's not a comic, it's not a social media platform. The empire of ice, is a social novel that all can come, enjoy, engage and share. I'm just going to start saying that.
