It's not, but it was funny when I thought of it.
Where have I been, you ask? What's been happening behind the scenes, you ask? Is this site even active, you ask? Yes.
Throughout the last two months I've been drawing my ass off trying to get these pages finished - reminding myself that art cannot be rushed, only created. Though I've been taking my time, I'm still here every day, updating the site and making sure whatever we need is running and that our members are comfy.
Along with this update, I've been confronted with the idea of AI and how traditional art, digital art and AI art are all now in battle...apparently. You want my opinion? Probably not, but I'll share it anyway.
What happened in April?
All throughout April I was preparing for school graduations, the approaching summer rushes, pink slips and unpaid bills. Fighting myself to save my money and also trying not to lose all motivation and hope; avoiding the swirling whirlpool of poor artists; watching painfully as thousands of pop-up comics start flooding the wavelengths. I find myself standing on the outside of the glass, having escaped from the zoo. Our household has gone through a few changes these few months, spring cleaning, shifting relationships and new babies. It's been busy, but It's all been positive - mostly.
