"How to Find the Perfect Episode Timing for Q1.2024 Plans: By a Rambling 31-Year-Old Woman"

I'm trying to think of ways I can get more hours out of the day dedicated to drawing. It takes so long that I hate to sacrifice any of my time to anything else menial...like showering - I would definitely postpone showering for a few extra days.

🦨

Our goal remains: To upload 1 episode a month, which is doable; But these first four months may have some irregularities. (for example, Episode 2.1 released Feb 1, ...Episode 3 might release March 1~4 ish...) until I can find my rhythm.

Q1 Worries and me complaining🤬😰...!?

I watched the clock once while working on a page recently, and it took at least three hours to finish. Three hours a page!? 35-40 pages per episode? How many hours in the month does that take? Does anyone know math!?

Before I panic I had to remind myself that I can only do so much, so fast, and I don't want to sacrifice quality for quantity. For anyone unfamiliar, comic books and other graphic novels are usually done by two to three people. Set/Sketch Artist, The Line/Text Artist. It gives them the ability to upload their episodes more frequently. They pump out pages and pages for their publishers to meet a deadline for a tiny royalty that they then split.

February/March Goals

🦂I'm just ranting about my 2023, read at your own risk 🦂

Thankfully I am my own publisher, and without the strict timelines and money grifting, I can upload quality art at a more comfortable pace. Besides, the episodes aren't the only things I'm making available for you all...there is a LOT on my list of things to draw...

What was my last blog about? Consistency? 🤔

I might not be consistently blogging at the end of every week like I'd planned, BUT I am consistently, doing something else...probably drawing.

📦Merchandise anyone???📦
